The Art In You
I have been struggling with charging for projects at Art Meetups. I know times are hard, or sometimes the month’s project just doesn’t “float your boat”. I don’t want Art Meetups to be all about money, every now and then you just want to get together with “the ladies” and get some inspiration. So I’m going to try out this plan.
For Art Meetup Day:
There will be a small project designed for each Art Meetup Day and it will be FREE. Come with your two hands, dig in and create. If it involves something I can’t easily provide, I will ask you to bring products with you, otherwise I will provide everything you need. I plan on trying to design a project for each Meetup. If you have an idea, step up and volunteer to create a monthly project.
If the project doesn’t sound like “your cup of tea” don’t let that stop you from coming just bring your own project and play and enjoy the interaction and creativity.
I may offer “optional” Art Meetup projects with a fee. These would be on a SEPARATE day and a fee would be charged mainly because it involves items that have to be purchased and provided. OR, we have a guest instructor that provides us with a unique project.
Art Meetups are normally the Second Tuesday of Each Month. As always, all attendees are encouraged to bring art or supplies that they might want to share or sell.

Couldn't wait to to let you know that Bets Corsaut volunteered to lead an Art Meetup in June.
We'll be making Paper Dolls. Ahhh a return to childhood such fun. Can't wait to play.
Bets will be bringing some examples of Paper Dolls to the April Meetup so we can start to formulate our dollies.
